We cultivate the designer-builder-client collaboration that empowers clients to make easy, informed decisions about their bathroom design.
Good bathroom remodeling – well designed, well built, on time, and on budget – requires skillful coordination by a contractor. We bring the acumen and people-skills to coordinate a broad team of subcontractors in a tight space. And you can count on Great Lakes Carpentry's career carpenters to personally carry out your project with flawless execution.
Randy Nilsson, President of Great Lake Carpentry, recently became part of a select group of professionals nationwide to earn Certified Aging-In-Place Specialist (CAPS) designation., identifying him as one of the building industry's top professionals with the skills and knowledge specific to home modifications for aging-in-place.
The CAPS designation identifies remodelers who have been trained to help retirees and older adults remain in their homes safely, independently and comfortably, regardless of income or ability level, throughout their maturing years.
Bathroom remodeling for “Aging-In-Place” includes at least one full bathroom on the main level. The space is planned to accommodate walkers and wheelchairs, grab bars, proper toilet height, and accessible bathtubs and showers.
Bathroom remodeling that incorporates the concept of aging-in-place will ensure that your home remains comfortable and safe throughout your retirement years.
